May God bless all His children as they begin a new school year! 
I smile and think about “our” children stepping into their new clothes that are covered not only in their favorite colors but with all the prayers that we have prayed. 
I believe that we have given at least 256 children brand new clothes and shoes to start this school year. 
The break-down goes like this:
Naugatuck 54, , Bristol 26,  Litchfield 14, Thomaston 52,
Watertown/Oakville 45, Waterbury 25, New Britain 40+
Do you realize that last year alone we gave 768 shirts, 512 pants, 256 jackets, and at least 768 pairs of socks and underwear.  AND each child receives a $25 gift card which totals $6400.
God is good!  I thank each and every one of you who have contributed in some way to the children of New Beginnings.  To those who shopped, who coordinated, who prayed, who donated, thank– you for opening your hearts and giving so generously. 
 

“Operation Christmas Child”
 

How we look forward to Operation Chirstmas Child “OCC”!  As November approaches we can’t wait for Pastor Bob Cronk to come for his annual visit to Tuesday Night Sunday School with arms full of empty boxes that we will fill.  We get excited to fill shoe boxes with toys and stationary, and clothing and snuggly things!  This year we collected 205 boxes packed with love and prayers!

 

 
 
Our new web site has been well received. Several people have commented favorably on its “look & feel”.
 
We reviewed the content and made some changes. Some of the pages had more info than a visitor might want, so we reworded sections or linked to a Page 2 for more info.  Some sections have little or no content and we need to update them also.
 
We updated the link to the Gift Card Order Form for ordering gift cards under the UnitedScrip program.  See the page for more information.
