"New Beginnings" provides children in need with brand new clothes to begin school. Each year we are able to help children start school with a bit more self esteem as we gave each of them 3 shirts, 2 pants, 1 jacket, 1 package of socks, underwear and a gift certificate toward a pair of shoes. We do this lovingly every year as God has given us the grace to do so. As the years have progressed we seem to grow into new communities.
“And it is He who will supply all your needs from His riches in glory, because of what Jesus Christ has done for you. Now unto God our Father be glory forever and ever. AMEN!”

Thank You for the 2014 Ministry
The shopping is done...the clothing has been boxed, blessed & delivered. How thankful I am to be a part of this ministry that blesses so many. 213 children are beginning their school year with brand new clothes and a blessing in their pocket!!!
Each year “New Beginnings” is different as we try to meet the needs of our communities. How wonderful to see so many people anxiously wanting to help “our” children. We give with cheerful hearts and do the best we can.
50 children in Thomaston, 33 in Watertown/Oakville, 7 in Litchfield, 25 in Waterbury, 34 in Naugatuck, 33 in New Britain and 32 in Bristol have received shirts, pants, jackets, socks, underwear and $25 gift cards for shoes!!!
Shall I break that down a bit more? It looks like this: 639 shirts, 426 slacks, 213 jackets, more than 639 pairs of socks, and at least that many underwear, and $5325.00 in gift cards.
I will not attempt to list all of the donors, you know who you are. But I will thank each and every shopper, coordinator and pray-er. Your generosity has blessed so many children and families. Oh look what we can do when we work together!!!
