“Operation Christmas Child”
OCC is a ministry of Samaritan's Purse that we support. During the late summer and fall we gather items for children that will fit in a shoe box, such as small stuffed toys, toothbrush & toothpast, hair clips, miniture cars, crayons, pens, pads, and jumpropes, The boxes are gathered and shipped around the world (including the USA) and given to children for Christmas.
In 2015 we were challenged to provide 200 children with boxes filled with gifts!
Empowered by God’s love we filled 211!
We “emptied our pockets” and shopped and gathered and prayed!
We want these children to know that:
“Jesus Loves Them and So Do We!”
