From the Office
As I sit to write this it is beyond the last minute to have completed this report. But...I have connections! (lol) Every one of the 22 years that I have been working in this office, no two are the same. It continues to amaze me the work the God has given me to do.
The past 6 months in the office we have experienced many technical problems, computers not cooperating, laptop crashing, printers not printing and on and on. Throughout it all I have learned so much thanks to our so very patient IT guy, my husband Michael. Many thanks to him for sharing his high-tech knowledge. Not only are we up-to-date with our computers but he has them running very well.
Throughout this last year the work that comes from this office supports the ministries that go out from OSLC. Schedules are prepared, council minutes and reports are compiled and now emailed. Newsletters are created every month and Worship folders every week. Communication takes much time as a phone call from the church office usually includes time to chat. It takes time for Holy Spirits to connect and share. Needs are met when strangers call in need of food or gas to get home.
One of these days, I will journal each hour that I work, for it is difficult to say all that happens in the office of Our Savior Lutheran.
The Bible continues to be my most important tool and guide. God’s grace continues to help and guide me.

Prayer Chain Ministry
In crisis situations, people need prayer support. One of the best responses we can give in tough times is
“let us pray for you!” and that is what we do. There are 27 people who are willing to petition God to help, support and guide you, your family, your friends when life gets difficult.
When a prayer request is made, phone calls are made, and the 27 people or “links” of the Prayer Chain are activated. This process will form a chain of prayer that will release God’s power in the lives of those who have special needs. Know that you are supported by the “prayers” of this group who believe in the power of prayer.
If you would like to be included in this on-going and vital ministry please call the Church Office. All that is needed is a firm belief in the power of the Holy Trinity to unleash blessings, strength, endurance, and hope into the lives of God’s children.
